Uncle Tetsu's Cheese Cake @ Putrajaya

Of late, there has been an overwhelming response in Malaysia for Japanese Cheese Tarts and Japanese Cheese Cakes. That being said, a number of different brands have set foot in Malaysia in the recent years and Uncle Tetsu's Cheese Cake is one such brand.

Brief History

This outlet in IOI City Mall is located on the Lower Ground Level. Although being a simple kiosk like set up, it is very presentable set up wise. Baking is done on premise and that guarantees the freshness of the cakes.

They have a variety of cakes to choose from, hot and cold and both of these versions comes in original cheese and chocolate cheese flavours. The staffs were very helpful in explaining these as well. For customers convenience, these cakes are packed in cakes boxes with utmost importance given to hygiene.

The Bill

I must say that their cakes were quite impressive.They were cotton like, fluffy and had their signature texture that is found in all Japanese Cheese Cakes. The degree of cheesiness was impressive as well. For RM 21.00 , it's definitely one that is worth it. But, if I am to compare to other similar ones that I had tried, I would still say that Tokyo Pastry was better. Nevertheless, this is still a very good cake to try.
