SF Seafood Restaurant @ Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh, Sungai Buloh

Sungai Buloh New Village has an abundant options of Chinese restaurants, a handful of which I have tried and many more that is yet to be discovered. This evening, my brother visited me and I suggested to take a drive to this place and check out the restaurant scene. As we were driving around, we came across a number of restaurants and this one was reasonably crowded. As such, we decided to try out the place.

Some of the available dishes
This restaurant is located along Jalan Perkhidmatan, a short two minutes drive from the main trunk road. It is impossible to miss this restaurant as it is brightly lit up. Parking space can be a slight problem if the place is crowded but there are other places to park slightly further which would require a slight walk back to the restaurant. The place is manned by Indonesian helpers who are seriously sexily dressed, I am not sure what is the purpose for that but that was how they were, nevertheless ordering is all handled by the lady boss and her sister. It was not even a weekend and the restaurant was so crowded. It seems that everyone here is ordering a particular fish dish but since there was only the two of us, we could not order that as the fish was quite huge. They do not have a menu for you to choose the dishes and hence ordering is solely based on either your preference or the lady bosses' recommendations. Despite the crowd, the service was super fast.

Chinese Tea @ RM 0.50

Hot Water for the Cutlery

White Rice @ RM 1.20
Within minutes, the drinks and cutlery arrived and soon thereafter, the dishes started arriving one by one.

Petai Sambal with Dried Shrimps @ RM 12.00

Petai Sambal with Dried Shrimps @ RM 12.00
The first to arrive was the above dish, Petai Sambal with Dried Shrimps. For the price of RM 12.00, the portion was huge and would have been good for four pax. The Petai used were the large ones and belacan and dried shrimps were added lavishly to the dish. The sambal was not too spicy but it was very good. The flavours too were awesome. We were very delighted with this dish and I would rate this at 9.3/10 .

Prawns with Salted Eggs @ RM 28.00

Prawns with Salted Eggs @ RM 28.00
This dish again came with seven very large prawns fried and coated with salted eggs. For the price, I feel that this dish had a good number of prawns. The prawns were fried to a golden crisp where even the outer skin was crispy and juicy. The prawns too were very fresh. Taste wise, this may not be the best that I have tried but it was still good.In terms of portion and freshness of the prawns, this was definitely the best. I would rate this dish at 8.3/10 .

Kam Heong Clams @ RM 15.00

Kam Heong Clams @ RM 15.00
Once again, the portion size for this was huge. The Kam Heong preparation was absolutely heavenly. The gravy was thick and spicy, and it was delicious. There was a good amount of gravy that had absorbed well into the clams. Definitely a highly recommended dish here and I would rate this at 9.8/10 .

The food here, from what we ordered today has been fantastic and the price along with the portions too had been very reasonable. This is definitely a place that is suitable to go to in large groups and to enjoy an array of dishes along with friends and family. I would definitely return again with my family to enjoy more of their dishes. Totally loved this place.
