Assam Restaurant is another restaurant that had opened in recent months in Cyberjaya. This restaurant is located in CBD 2 area and is easily visible from the main street. This restaurant specialises in Malay Cuisine and it is great that they have opened up as we do not have that many authentic Malay restaurants in Cyberjaya.

The design at this restaurant is very nice and I specifically like the cleanliness here. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas as well and even the outdoor seating area is nicely ventilated.

The concept here is self service. Dishes are prepared and kept in close containers. You would then pick up all the items that you would like to have. The variety was good and the food surely looks good. They also have complimentary drinks that you may have. However, if you want to have something else, then it comes as a chargeable item. Like the Teh O Ais that I had was a chargeable item. Based on the items that I had taken, the price of RM 7.80 seemed okay to me.

All three items that I had taken were decent. Assam Pedas Ikan Pari, Stir Fried Cabbage as well as the Fried Chicken were all nice. I would give them all a rating of 7/10.

For some decent Malay food in Cyberjaya, you could head to Assam Restaurant that is located in CBD 2. The food is nice, good spread to choose from and the restaurant is very clean.
