Restaurant Banana is definitely the most famous Indian restaurant in Mont Kiara. Located in Block D of Plaza Mont Kiara, this restaurant is usually packed on weekdays during lunch hours. Today being a Sunday, we were supposed to be meeting some friends in Mont Kiara and I know that this restaurant would be quite empty. As such, I suggested to meet up at this restaurant.

I have previously blogged about this restaurant showing the variety of dishes available on a weekday. Today being a Sunday, they had reduced the number of dishes to cater for the daily needs, nevertheless the variety was still good.

You must be wondering that the drinks here are quite pricey. To be honest, not only the drinks but also the food is on the high side, but they are good. Besides, this is indeed the cheapest place in Mont Kiara where one can get food. I would rate both their Tea's at 9.5/10 . Definitely a good preparation.

For a simple all vegetarian meal, it totaled RM 16.20 which is definitely expensive considering that this is a day to day restaurant. But considering the location and the rental that these guys have to pay, then you would realise that the prices commensurate the location. Besides that, the food also tasted good. As an average, I would rate our meal today at 8.8/10 .

Papadam is sold separately in small plastic packets. Each packet contains five papadams. Despite being pre packed, they were fresh and crisp. I would rate their Papadams at 9/10 .

On the whole, we were satisfied with our meal today. If you come on a weekday, do come early as you would be spoilt for choices. Definitely a good place to have lunch if you are in Mont Kiara.
