I have been exploring all the Indian restaurants in Cyberjaya over the last two months and here's introducing the sixth Indian restaurant in Cyberjaya and one that has been around for some time now. This restaurant is located along Jalan GC 9, on the Glomac Cyberjaya side.

Restaurant Jaipur Mahal in Cyberjaya |
|
Interior Of The Restaurant |
Their very first outlet was opened in Jalan Ipoh followed by the one in Cyberjaya and subsequently Putrajaya. Though they try to portray a North Indian image, the restaurant itself is very much South Indian with all staffs speaking Tamil. Nevertheless, their menu consists of a wide range of food items right from North Indian to South Indian dishes. Their set up is posh and has a lovely ambiance. Though we came close to closing hours, it was very kind of the staffs to accommodate us. I did see some buffet trays and asked the staffs if they have buffet deals. That was when I was informed that the have buffet meals every Friday. So, if you're into buffet, then you should definitely visit them on a Friday.

Kesari On The House |
|
Ribbon Pakkoda |
Even before we had placed our orders, they had served us the above Kesari and a small basket of Ribbon Pakkoda. The Kesari was unique. It wasn't the usual semolina stuff. It tasted like oats and vermicelli in Kesari recipe. Unique and tasty and for that, I would rate this at 8/10. As for the Ribbon Pakkoda, there is a reason why they had served it free of charge. It was because they were selling these items and this definitely is a great way to get customers to taste them. And as a matter of fact, it was very good. In fact, each table ended up buying a jar or two of those stuffs. Even we did the very same. We liked the taste, it wasn't oily and reasonably priced. A large jar was only RM 13.00 . Taste wise, I would give this 8/10. While munching on these lovely Pakkoda's, we had confirmed our orders with the waiter. Service is surely up to the mark here. The staffs were very helpful and quick to respond to customers needs.

Aloo Paratha @ RM 6.90 each |
|
Comes With Curd & Lime Pickle |
Their Aloo Paratha is priced at RM 6.90 each and it comes with some curd and lime pickles. For the price, the size was a little small and the stuffings weren't that great. The restaurant that I had posted last week did better Aloo Paratha's and they were a Ringgit less each. In fact, bigger too. I would give their Aloo Paratha's 7/10. As for the curd and lime pickle, they were awesome. Their lime pickle specifically, leaves you a sour sting. Both of those items were very good and I would give them 9/10.
|
Lacha Paratha @ RM 5.90 |
The waiter suggested to try a different bread and we agreed to go for this Lacha Paratha which was nothing but Roti Canai. Obviously, this and the previous bread were made using different flours but it never struck my mind that it would be like Roti Canai. However, I loved the fluffy texture of this one and it was tasty. This, I would rate it at 9/10.
|
Chettinad Mutton Masala @ RM 23.90 |
This Chettinad Mutton Masala dish was one that came with medium sized mutton cuts and were cooked in a thick, medium spicy gravy. The dish was good and it went very well with the bread. The blend of spices were just perfect. I would rate this at 8/10.
|
Malabar Fried Prawns @ RM 21.90 |
Their Malabar Fried Prawns were above average. It should have been a little more spicier. I have tasted the better version of this dish for sure. Also, the prawns should have been crispy which wasn't the case here. I would rate this dish at 7/10.
|
Chettinad Nandu Varuval @ RM 27.90 |
This dish was simply fantastic! It was mega spicy, yes. The kind of spiciness that not many can tolerate and the crab was done beautifully. The thick gravy was a mixture of spices and banana blossoms, a rare combination these days. Heavenly it was! And where can you find a crab dish for RM 27.90 . Highly recommended dish!
|
Masala Tea @ RM 5.90 |
Their Masala Tea was another one that impressed me. After that spicy crabs, this was just the perfect drink to have. The infusion was medium strong, not too much milk and the tea itself was bolder. A good Masala Tea for sure and I would rate this at 9/10.

Outlets & Contact Details |
Based on the dishes that we tried this afternoon, their Chettinad Crab Varuval was the best. That was definitely a different level. The other dishes were good too but they do have room for improvement. Prices seem decent and their service was excellent. A good place to drop by in Cyberjaya if you're looking for Chettinad food.
