Restoran Siaw Kwee is another restaurant in Kajang that sells the famous Kajang Hot Soup. Besides this dish, they also carry a number of other dishes that they have made a name for themselves. This restaurant is located on the Sungai Chua side of Kajang and throughout the day, this restaurant has a steady flow of customers and that is why they are open from as early as 9 am and stay open till 10.30 pm.

The entire dining space is very organised and the place is clean and tidy. Service is efficient as well and the moment you are seated, someone will almost immediately attend to you. They do have their signature dishes posted on the walls but you could also ask for their menu which is very comprehensive in my opinion. All dishes comes with photographs and detailed narration.

This is one of the signature dishes that Kajang is famous for and Siaw Kwee does a fabulous job with this. They were quite generous with the rice wine and the chicken chunks were more meaty. Taste wise, it was slightly different to their famous competitor, I guess it must be a twist that marks their own recipe. For me, I still prefer the other one over this and my rating for this shall be 8/10.

Their version of the Hot Soup was excellent. It had lots of pepper and the mix of pork and pork belly was just amazing. In terms of portion, I felt that these guys were more generous. Taste wise too, this was way better than their competitors. 9/10 is what I shall rate this.

Pork Spring Rolls is another item that is famous in Kajang and Siaw Kwee does prepare an amazing one too. I could not choose between this and their competitors since both were slightly different and both tasted good in their own way. In terms of meatiness, I would say this was better. The external texture, their competitors were better. However, my rating for this shall be 9/10.

This is a dish that is unique to this restaurant. I have not seen this kind of preparation in any other restaurant. The ribs were large and meaty and the salted egg batter was heavenly. A must try dish at this restaurant. For the portion, I felt that the price was acceptable despite this being much higher than the other dishes that we had this afternoon. Taste wise, I would rate this at 10/10.

This is another restaurant that is extremely famous in Kajang mainly for their Kajang Hot Soup, Hua Tiao Chicken and Spring Rolls. Besides these, we also tried another dish that is unique to this restaurant and that was their Salted Egg Ribs which turned out to be heavenly. Prices are reasonable and the staffs are efficient. I wouldn't mind driving all the way from Kuala Lumpur solely for the good food that we get at this restaurant. A place that I would recommend.
