Another good place to have Hokkien Mee in Puchong would be Restoran You N Mee. This restaurant has been around for a very long time and is a sister restaurant of Tiong Hokkien Mee which is located in Damansara Utama and Restoran Ah Wa which is located along Jalan 222, Petaling Jaya.

Having been part of a famous group, this restaurant does have a good crowd all day long even when it is close to midnight which is beyond the normal dinner hours. They are located along Jalan Kenari 3 in Bandar Puchong Jaya and are open daily from 3 pm till midnight. The only problem here would be parking which seems to be an issue round the clock.
Their menu carries all the items found in Tiong Hokkien Mee. In fact, they had reused the very same menu card as well. I guess the fact that they are part of the same family carries weight and they aree leveraging on each other's strength.

Their Fish Cake is one that I enjoyed. It had such a delicate and silky texture on the inside while remaining juicy despite being deep fried. There was not much taste of oil too. Perfectly done and my rating for this shall be 9/10.

I had initially thought that the prices are high here by looking at the menu since they had quoted RM 9.00 per pax for noodles but when the dish arrived, I realised that it was a mistake. Because that dish was good to feed two people. It came with some cabbage, shrimps and lard and the overall preparation was very good. Very similar in style to the other sister restaurants. As for their Hokkien Mee, my rating shall be 9/10. Coming over to their Belacan Chilli Paste, this was really something. It wasn't too spicy and the shrimp paste did not overpower the overall flavour. Just perfect and it went so well with the Hokkien Mee. 10/10 would be my rating for this.

Their Chicken Wings is another unique preparation. It is coated with fermented beancurd and deep fried and this coating gives it such a unique taste. Even this one wasn't oily at all. Crispy skin and it was so juicy and good on the inside. 9/10 again for this preparation.
Having been the sister restaurant of Tiong Hokkien Mee and Ah Wa Hokkien Mee, Restoran You N Mee definitely lives up to it's reputation. Each and every dish that we tried was excellent. Speedy services and reasonable prices. An excellent Hokien Mee restaurant to visit in Bandar Puchong Jaya.
