I have blogged on this shop before but that entry was on Hen Wong Lo which is the typical Chinese Restaurant serving seafood and other Chinese dishes and this entry would be on Ho Yee Kee. As mentioned before, this restaurant is unique as Hen Wong Lo operates all day long whereas Ho Yee Kee operates from breakfast to lunch only.

Restaurant Ho Yee Kee operates from 7.30 am daily. They sell Chee Cheong Fun and Wan Tan Mee. Besides this, on the far left corner of this restaurant, there is a lady that sells Char Kuey Teow and Fried Noodles. A few of my friends had recommended me to try her Kuey Teow as they claimed it to be quite good. We arrived here around 2 pm today and the other breakfast items were already sold out. That was not an issue for us as we were here to predominantly try the Char Kuey Teow. We ordered three plates and you can always customise your order with her as she is flexible in that sense.

Just like other Char Kuey Teow vendors, she makes one plate at a time to ensure consistency of taste. But it was quite fast for her to prepare three plates for us and it was not a long wait. Within minutes, the dishes arrived.

The Char Kuey Teow came hot with loads of cockles, egg and beansprouts. I had asked her to prepare mine slightly spicy and she did exactly as requested. Taste wise, it was really good. No wonder my friends recommended me to try this place. It was definitely one of the best in it's class. No doubt, for now this is the best Char Kuey Teow in Tanjung Malim. My rating for this dish shall be 9.3/10 .
If you are looking for a good plate of Char Kuey Teow in Tanjung Malim, look no further as this is the best in town for now. Definitely worth giving the place a try. Highly recommended!
