Having visited this outlet about ten days back, my brother kept pestering me to take him for that same steamed fish again and tonight here we are once again for dinner.

This time around, we decided to sit outside as it was a cool night. As traffic is near zero around this time at this street, it is quite safe to be seated outside by the road.

As always, we ordered one fish each. Not wanting to make the same mistake of ordering super spicy, we went for the medium spicy fish. This time around, we also ordered a plate of the Steamed Prawns as that is the only dish that I have not tried at this restaurant and it has been our wish to try that. Since we were really in the 'eating' mood, decided to go for it.

Medium Spicy Steamed Fish @ RM 15.00 |
In about 20 minutes, the medium spicy fish arrived. As always, the fish was perfectly done. Steamed with garlic and bird eye chili, the fish was a treat to steamed fish lovers. Just admire the consistency of taste across all their outlets. As mentioned in my previous blog on the same restaurant but in Kota Damansara, here too the fish is steamed in stacked rattan baskets and not the modern way. Perhaps this is what gets the taste going. It was simply a perfect dish and I would rate this at 10/10 .

For RM 21.00, it came with seven medium sized prawns laden with loads of garlic and chili. The prawns were absolutely awesome, never did it expect this to be this good. It seems that going forward my must order dishes here would be their steamed fish and this steamed prawns. You have to taste it to know how good it was. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed the dish and I would rate this at 9.7/10 .

The Bill |
In summary, both of us enjoyed our dinner. Unlike the Kota Damansara outlet, this outlet opens till 10 pm at night. Once again I would like to stress that if you love steamed fish or steamed prawns, then this is a must visit restaurant. You would surely love the steamed fish and steamed prawns here. As mentioned in my previous blogs on the same restaurant, most of their other food items here are very average and that is why you would see most people sticking to the steamed fish. Do note that this is a Pork Free restaurant and every now and then you would be able to see Muslim customers dining here too.
