We have a lot of Indian restaurants in Cyberjaya and most of them are either Tamil Restaurants or North Indian restaurants with an exception to one which is an Andhra Restaurant. To add to that list, we now have a Hyderabadi Restaurant as well that had just started about a month back.
Green Chillies in CBD 2, Cyberjaya |
Clean and Air Conditioned |
Iced Water On The House |
Not many know about the existence of this restaurant since it is located on the quiet side of CBD 2 unlike the rest of the Indian restaurants which are located in Glomac Cyberjaya. This restaurant is open from 8 am to 8 pm, Mondays to Saturdays. This restaurant has a very pleasant set up and is air-conditioned for customers comfort. I had a glass of iced water and even that was on the house and that came as a pleasant surprise to me. Not forgetting the staffs who were very friendly too.
They do have a very impressive menu mainly concentrating on Hyderabadi dishes. Do note that all their staffs including the chefs are Hyderabadis and all spices are imported from Hyderabad as well. That gives an assurance of very authentic taste.
Chicken Dum Briyani @ RM 12.00 |
Their Chicken Dum Briyani is priced at RM 12.00 and comes exactly how you would get in in Hyderabad with no fancy Malaysian additions. Portions were definitely huge for the price.
Raita |
Chicken Curry |
Their Raita was very unique. It was very light and had a lot of diced bird eye chilli and chopped onions. Taste wise, very authentic taste and totally different to those that you get here. My rating for this shall be 9/10. Their Chicken Curry was absolutely heavenly. It was so thick and the spices reminded me of the wonderful meals that I have had in India. Totally mind blowing stuff and I would rate this at 10/10.
Briyani Comes With An Egg and Chicken |
Delicious Taste |
Their Briyani itself had a wonderful aroma to it and it was so delicious. Not forgetting the chicken which was so soft and tender. This is definitely thee best Hyderabadi Dum Briyani that I have tasted in Malaysia. 10/10 is what I shall rate this.
Chicken Thali Meals @ RM 9.00 |
This Chicken Thali Meals is priced at RM 9.00 and comes with rice, three vegetables, Sambar and Rasam. They do not restrict you on the volume and you are free to take as much as you want, as long as you do not waste it.
Vegetable Pakkora |
Their Vegetable Pakkora was very nice. I loved the crisp and it was freshly prepared and not greasy at all. My rating for this shall be 9/10.
The Potato dish was good as well and it was very authentically prepared. The same goes to the Keerai. Loved the flavours and I would rate both at 8/10.
Chicken Curry |
This I found to be slightly on the oily side but taste wise, it was decent. Reasonably amounts of chicken chunks and they were meaty. 7/10 is what I shall give for this.
Masala Tea @ RM 2.50 |
It was funny to see the Masala Tea which came half full just like those that you would get in India. Taste wise, I absolutely loved it. I would definitely give this 9/10.
For authentic Hyderabadi food, I would recommend Green Chillies which is located in Cyberjaya. A restaurant that had recently started and they do serve some amazing Briyani's. In fact, it won't be wrong to say that this was the best Hyderabadi Briyani that I have tasted in Malaysia. Not only are their cooks from Hyderabad, even their spices are imported from there. Besides Briyani, they do have a range of other dishes to try as well.
Address: CBD Perdana 2, Jalan Perdana, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
Opening Hours: 0800 - 2000 Monday - Saturday
Prices seem reasonable, but curries look like it is catered for Malaysian Indians. I went to vasantha bhavan recently. They are changing the menu to Malaysians now. In that way, saravana bhavan is still sticking to authentic taste. Though they sweets taste like they were made of cheap palm oil.
ReplyDeleteI shall still give a try at this place. Have you been too Mr. Kebab and Naan or Pizza. Their prices are very reasonable too.

ReplyDeleteWe have been informed and told everyone to everyone. YIP KUM FOOK (lawyer, president of SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST TEMPLE) was embarrassed by Buddhism, as a shame of the Buddhist world
ReplyDeleteIn addition, do dirty with monks. He thinks this temple is his, when we read the articles on the internet, our mind is sadder because of many posts and comments on the internet.
But he still doesn't know anything. Maybe he is close to the six senses feelings. This is very low knowledge. Some old man groups at Taman Desa Jaya, Kepong are also very embarrassing when they speak about SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST TEMPLE
On the contrary, if this Yip Kum Fook has learned the law, he needs to understand some laws, other lawyers do not make problems and deceive people, only this Yip Kum Fook in the world…..
In Buddhist also same, if he understands Buddhist knowledge, why does he need to do badly, insult Buddhist monks (rejected monks out from Temple), we know about SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST TEMPLE because we are groups opened this Temple at Taman Ehsan on 1987
We don't say much because of his karma (YIP)
