Restoran Woh is a day to day Chinese coffee shop that is located in a hidden corner in Bandar Sri Damansara. I have saved this place as a 'must do' restaurant in Foursquare for more than a year now as I heard that the Har Mee (Prawn Mee) and Char Kuey Teow here is quite good but never managed to drop by as they are mostly sold out by around 2pm daily, and the location and timings were a little off for me. Since I was on leave today, I decided to drop by for lunch.

Packed During Lunch Hours |

Waiting For Tables |
This restaurant is located along Jalan Cempaka SD 12/2, which is the row of shops right after the Mc Donalds. To head here, you would pass the Mc Donalds which would be on your right and shortly, you would come to a traffic light. Here at this lights, you would need to turn right. This restaurant is located at the corner of the row of shops facing the houses, not the main road. During lunch hours, parking would be a major problem and you might have to go in circles looking for a place to park. This restaurant operates from breakfast to lunch only. When we were here, I just parked at the curb of the road like many others as there were no bays available even after going in circles looking for one. The restaurant was packed with customers and we had to wait for about 15 minutes before we got a table.

A Number of Stalls Available |

Loads of Food Options |
|
Mixed Rice |
We were here at about 1.00 pm and even at that time, their Mixed Rice was almost sold out as you can see from the above photograph. There are many other food options too to choose from.

The Char Kuey Teow Stall |

Chinese Aunty Preparing The Dishes |
The Char Kuey Teow stall is one of the most busy ones. I had to stand in line just to place my orders. Besides Char Kuey Teow, she also sells Fried Rice and Fried Noodles. Not to worry as the Chinese Aunty speaks good English and hence ordering is not a problem.

Char Kuey Teow (Small) @ RM 4.60 |
The Char Kuey Teow took almost 25 minutes before it was served at our table. The preparation was really good. For the price of RM 4.60, there was a good amount of CKT along with cockles and eggs. The dish was very good and the aroma was heavenly. I must say that this is the best Char Kuey Teow that I have tried on this side of Kuala Lumpur. I would rate this dish at 9/10 .

Penang Prawn Mee Stall |
|
Indonesian Workers Preparing |
|
Various Options Available |
Though this stall is owned by the famous Mr. Lim from Penang who used to man this stall himself a couple of years back, now it is manned by Indonesian workers, although I believe the recipe is still his. This stall was busy too but not as busy as the Char Kuey Teow stall. Ordering was simple as they have an illustrated menu on the side of the stall. I went for the Penang Prawn Mee with extra eggs.

Prawn Mee Hoon + Egg @ RM 5.60 |
We ordered two dishes, one Prawn Mee and one Prawn Mee Hoon, both with extra egg. The portion was decent for the price. The broth was good as it was well flavoured with prawn stock and there were a decent amount of the small prawns and sliced pork. The accompanying chili paste was also quite nice. I would not say that this was an excellent Prawn Mee but it was still good and much better than many others that is sold out there. I would rate this at 8.5/10 .
On the whole, the meal was good and satisfying. There was no regrets coming out of the way here for lunch. The Char Kuey Teow was definitely excellent and the Prawn Mee was good. Definitely a place that I don't mind returning for a quick meal. Only set back would be the parking facilities.
