Zeus is a Restoclub located on the Ground Floor of 1 Mont Kiara Mall. Previously this particular outlet was occupied by Overtime and recently there has been a change of operator. Their core theme is a pub cum cafe like environment which has live band on certain days and an in house DJ on most other evenings. It is very common among the people working here to head for a quick beer and get together after work, taking advantage of the Happy Hour promotions. As for us, it was the same too. Today, we head out for a couple of beers after work. Not something that we do often but more on an occasional note.

This restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seating areas. For those who would like to have a conversation while enjoying their meals and drinks, the outdoor area comes highly advisable. However for those who would love to enjoy the music and also watch the live band, then the indoor area is recommended.

There were a number of Happy Hour promotions here but they are predominantly for Kilkenny, Tiger, Guinness, Heineken and Carlsberg. Once the waiter brought the Happy Hour menu, we ordered our drinks. This was quite fast and the service was very swift and efficient. The tough part was the food menu. The offering was quite elaborate. We then left it to our friend to scan through the menu and place the orders while we continued to sip the ice cold beer and enjoy the conversations.

It was a good thing that we enjoyed the conversations while my friend ordered but there is a setback to this, I do not know the price of these dishes and if you are familiar with my usual style of writing, I would always quote the price of dishes. One thing for sure is that they do not come cheap. Coming back to the above dish, it was great. No other comments. You do not even need the dip sauce to go with this, the meat alone is perfectly done. Not the best in town but surely good for a pub. I would rate this 8.7/10 .

This was another decent dish that we had. It is layers of Baked Tortilla Chips with pickled chilies and ground fine pepper. There is a dip sauce that goes with this. It surely went well with the beer. I would rate this at 7/10 .

| Fried Pregnant Fish With Fries |
This was a well conceptualized dish done averagely. Each one of those fishes were pregnant i.e. there were eggs inside them. It is coated in flour and deep fried and served along with some fries. The setback was that the flavouring was not too good thus the bitter taste of the fish eggs were very imminent. It can definitely be improved. I would rate this dish at 7.5/10 .

This was the last dish that we ordered for the evening. I find this to be only average once again. I would rate this dish at 6.5/10 .
Overall, this is a great place to chill with friends after work. The environment is great. Though open and on the ground floor, privacy is well guarded here. No mosquito problems and the food is great too. Not to mention the good beers.
