Restoran Asam Batu Laut @ Tanjung Sepat, Selangor

Restoran Asam Batu Laut is located in Batu Laut Fishermen's Village which is just a few minutes away from Tanjung Sepat and Morib. There are so many people that flock here for good seafood that is sold at much cheaper rates than the restaurants in the Klang Valley and you should not be surprised if there was such a tremendous crowd when you visit them.

The Restaurant Located Along The Coastal Road

Such A Huge Car Park and Its Full House

During the weekends and public holidays, please do not be surprised to see such a huge crowd here. I will estimate easily there was around 700 people at this restaurant when we arrived. Yes, and that number is not an exaggeration!

Indoor And Outdoor Seating Areas

Beautiful Views

One can opt to sit inside or outside. Both places are well ventilated so you don't have to worry about feeling hot if you sit outdoors. Personally, I prefer sitting close to the sea as the views are really amazing.

The Menu

Top Sellers

Coco Cola @ RM 2.20
This is a Pork Free restaurant and as such, you do find many Muslim customers here as well. Prices are very reasonable and you would be able to see shortly how vast a difference it is from restaurants Kuala Lumpur. Moreover, being a fishing village, supplies are very fresh. When they are busy, they are really busy. Did you notice that they do not use table cloths but plastic sheets? This is simply because they do not have time to change them. This way, once the customer is done, they just throw it away and another sheet is already beneath it. Similarly, drinks are served in disposable cups solely to cut down on washing time.

Mongolian Prawns @ RM 26.00
It does take a while for the dishes to arrive but that wait time is manageable, somewhere around 20 to 30 minutes maximum. One thing you can be rest assured, their crowd management skills are just perfect. The first dish to arrive was the Mongolian Prawns and this was priced at RM 26.00 . It came with such huge prawns and they were extremely fresh and sweet. The preparation was excellent as well. I would rate this at 9/10.

Marmite Baby Octopus @ RM 16.00
This is the first time that I am trying Baby Octopus and I must confess that I was in love with this dish. The octopus had such a soft texture and the style of preparation was just perfect for this. Fresh, such huge portions and very cheap I would say. 10/10 is what I would rate this dish.

Ikan Merah Steamed Teochew Style @ RM 45.00
A rather huge Ikan Merah steamed the Teochew Style and this was priced at RM 45.00 . Extremely cheap and fresh and it tasted heavenly. Loved the sour broth that came with preserved vegetables. 10/10 is my rating for this.

Salted Egg Mantis Prawns @ RM 15.00
Another heavenly dish that we all enjoyed. It may sound repetitive but I have got to say it. Extremely fresh it was and they were very generous with the salted egg batter. If you enjoy this dish, then you have got to try it here. 10/10 again for this!

Kam Heong Crab @ RM 85.00
The minimum order quantity form crabs is 1 Kg and today the going rate was RM 85.00 . There were three large crabs that came and I would say that it is an excellent deal. The style of cooking was perfect as well and we all enjoyed it very much. 10/10 for this too!

  1. We have been informed and told everyone to everyone. YIP KUM FOOK (lawyer, president of SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST TEMPLE) was embarrassed by Buddhism, as a shame of the Buddhist world

In addition, do dirty with monks. He thinks this temple is his, when we read the articles on the internet, our mind is sadder because of many posts and comments on the internet.

But he still doesn't know anything. Maybe he is close to the six senses feelings. This is very low knowledge. Some old man groups at Taman Desa Jaya, Kepong are also very embarrassing when they speak about SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST TEMPLE

On the contrary, if this Yip Kum Fook has learned the law, he needs to understand some laws, other lawyers do not make problems and deceive people, only this Yip Kum Fook in the world…..

In Buddhist also same, if he understands Buddhist knowledge, why does he need to do badly, insult Buddhist monks (rejected monks out from Temple), we know about SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST TEMPLE because we are groups opened this Temple at Taman Ehsan on 1987
We don't say much because of his karma (YIP)
