Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba @ Night Market, Plaza Mont Kiara

Today after work I was walking around the Night Market in Plaza Mont Kiara in search of some food. I was actually looking for a different outlet but it was not open today. Therefore, it gave me the opportunity to deviate from my norms here and try another stall at the night market. This particular stall offers Japanese food. It belongs to Okomen Japanese Restaurant which is located in Desa Sri Hartamas and they had prepared a stall here just for these Thursday Nights and they offer only two types of food.

This stall is right at the end, closer to Block E of Plaza Mont Kiara. I should say they did have quite a number of orders and after trying their food today, I feel they deserve to be mentioned.

Guy Making the Okonomiyaki
Here they only serve Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba but there are a few varieties to it as you would be able to see from the coming photos.

Okonomiyaki Being Cooked
My Chicken Sausage & Cheese Okonomiyaki @ RM 10
Lucky me, this was the last piece. After this the chicken sausage & cheese was done and they only had the Seafood Okonomiyaki and Mixed Vegetable Okonomiyaki left. The taste was absolutely amazing. The cheese and egg was great.

Now, the next item was being prepared and you get to see the phases in the following photos. I also ordered a Chicken Yakisoba to go.

Almost ready, just the sauce to go

Finally My Chicken Yakisoba @ RM 10

When I took this food home, Angie who does not eat Japanese food found both these dishes to be absolutely delicious.

The setback I see is that this is only available every Thursday nights otherwise, you would have to head to their restaurant in Desa Sri Hartamas, but I am not sure if the price would be the same.

    1. Hie there, no there are around 10+ food stalls there. I just did one on this as this was something that I had tried. If I am not mistaken, there is a Satay stall, a Briyani stall, another selling sausages and few others. It is not that big though, just within the courtyard of Plaza Mont Kiara catering for the expatriate community there. Thanks for the comments again :)

  3. I am Mr. Bob Tan, I was in that incident when Datuk Yip Kum Fook and his team to remove the Buddhist monks from the Temple (Samnak Sambodhi, Taman Desa Jaya, Kepong), we are very sorry (pity) for the monks, and they forced the Buddhist monks, they used the police, thugs and their friends.

From that day until now, the Temple cannot be development because of the mistakes made by the Buddhist monks, and they will sin in the future or today. Everything is waiting for the timer. Now Datuk Yip Kum Fook has a court case, and his lawyer will be gone soon.

However, he knows what people are gossiping about on the internet because he has low knowledge, and he is a lover of cheating and just telling lies. We heard his family was destroyed in future because he did bad things in his life

His brother-in-law (Simon Low Kok Meng) is a CID or spy for Datuk Yip Kum Fook, he brings documents, news, messages to Datuk Kum Fook, this is Mr. Simon Low, you have to be careful, he is a crocodile (danger), Mr. Simon Low has a lowest education, and we heard he did not finish Form 3.
