Nothing like having a good afternoon tea and heavenly cakes on a hot Saturday afternoon, especially after a tiring week at work.With that set in our mind, Angie and I head over to The Curve just to this wonderful outlet called The Apartment.

This outlet serves good western food as well as heavenly cakes all day long. It is located on the Ground Floor along the Western Courtyard, right next to TGI Fridays.

The restaurant typically is designed to look like an apartment. So you would find seating areas designed similar to the living room, study, toilet and bed room. As the living room like area which had sofas to laze around was taken up, we head in to the bedroom design where we had the day bed to relax on. I like the design here very much and the spaces are designed to give you privacy of conversation and it is a suitable place to have both private and business conversations.

They had a number of ongoing promotions and we settled for the cake and tea sets which seemed like a good value at RM 16.90 . I had asked for my favourite Carrot Cake and Angie went over to the display shelf to choose her piece.

We received the tea pretty promptly. I must say that the service here is very good. Right from the moment we entered the restaurant till the very end, there was this particular waiter that gave us his full attention when we needed it and that too promptly. The tea was lovely, brewed to just the right taste and colour. Of course, with this promotion, you are not able to choose your type of tea but the tea served was nice. I would rate this at 9.7/10 .

The above photograph is that of the Cheese Cake that was picked by Angie. I did try a bite and it was delicious. No complaints whatsoever on the cake and it was a decently huge piece. Honestly, having just a slice would have been enough for the both of us unless you really have a sweet tooth. I would rate this cake at 9.3/10 .

This Carrot Cake is my all time favourite. I love the way they make it here. The Royal Icing and everything else about this cake is just excellent. I have tried Carrot Cakes in a number of places and this place really stands out. I would rate this at 9.8/10 .
Overall, this is a great place to have excellent tea and heavenly cakes. In a previous visit, I have also tried their mains and find them too to be excellent. Definitely a recommended place!
