Happy Happy Bread Bakery @ Kajang, Selangor

I heard about this place in Bandar Sungai Chua called Happy Happy Bread Bakery that is famous for it's Cheese Tarts and Half Baked Cheese Tarts from a friend and I did some research on the internet and found this place to be extremely famous. Since it isn't too far from Cyberjaya, I decided to drop by this evening.

This may seem like an ordinary bakery but let me tell you that you can find a queue as long as 100 meters twice daily here. They mainly sell Chinese bread and pastries along with Cheese Tarts. But the most famous one here is their Half Baked Cheese Tarts. These are baked twice a day once at noon and again at 6.30 pm and that is when, this place would be having such a long queue. In 15 to 30 minutes, the entire lot would have been sold out. It is called half baked because it isn't solid like the usual Cheese Tarts, This one would have the cheese oozing out, quite similar to the custard buns that you find at Dim Sum places. I was here at 7.00 pm and I could not find any despite it being baked just an hour before.

Since I could not enjoy their top seller which is their Half Baked Cheese Tarts, I had to settle with some buns and Cheese Tarts. These again were so good. The bun was soft and fluffy and it was so fresh. These miniature Cheese Tarts were a treat on it's own as well. Definitely some excellent buns and they were way better to those that we commonly get. I am definitely coming back to get my hands on their famous Half Baked Cheese Tarts that are baked twice daily, once at sharp noon and again at 6.30 pm. Make sure you're here early i.e. at least 10 minutes before as it sells out within 15 to 30 minutes. Once again, don't be surprised if you see a queue with 30 people ahead of you. A must visit bakery in Bandar Sungai Chua.
